The Glatt formula has been upgraded after previously only suitable for healthy hair.

Today you can choose from the upgraded Glatt hair straightening the type of formula suitable for hair from three different strength levels:

 0 - Curly or very curly hair

 1 - Very curly or curly hair and dyed

2 - Curly or dyed and porous hair

• The Glatt hair straightening series includes only two preparations that are a straightening ointment and a neutralizing lotion.
• It is a chemical straightening that changes the structure of the hair permanently by opening the hair ties.
• The substance remains on the hair for a maximum time of twenty minutes and is thoroughly washed from the hair.
• After straightening with a comb or straightener, apply the neutralizing lotion on the hair that closes the hair ties.
• The neutralizing substance is also washed well from the hair, which remains smooth for a long time.
• Because the active ingredient in the straightening penetrates the hair structure, it is important to nurture and nourish the hair that has undergone a smoothing treatment, in order to keep it healthy and shiny.

Instructions and procedure

• Do not wash hair before straightening but only comb.
• Divide the hairs into four groups (you can catch the hair groups with clips - before applying the product)
• Apply the smoothing cream evenly with a comb (non-metallic) or brush.
• Start at a distance of 1-0.5 inches from the scalp to the tip of the hairs.
• Carefully (once) comb each hair group.
• The duration of the substance on the hair depends on the preparation and the type of hair (follow the instructions for use attached to the preparation).
• Comb once more.
• Rinse your hair for a few minutes in lukewarm water and dry with a towel.
• Apply the neutralizing lotion
• Divide the hair into several groups and apply the material evenly throughout.
• Suspend the neutralizing agent on the hair according to the instructions.
• Rinse well with lukewarm water.
• Dry your hair and apply a suitable serum.

Tips for Glatt

• It is important to read the instructions carefully and not to exceed the indicated residence time on the package.
• Treat the hair gently, including overlapping and drying with a towel, without stretching the hair or massaging the scalp.
• Before straightening, it is recommended to comb the hair well and gently. Do not apply additional amount of preparation on tangled hair.
• Remember that the ingredients are active from the moment they are applied to the hair. It is advisable to perform the spreading operation quickly and thoroughly.

• Rinse with lukewarm water for a few minutes. Add shampoo only as directed.

• Glatt hair straightening is a chemical straightening. The active ingredients in smoothing preparations are theoglycolate in the smoothing formula and hydrogen pyroxide (hydrogen peroxide) which is the active neutralizing substance.
• Use any preparation in accordance with the instructions and do not exceed the recommended length of time in the instructions for use of the preparations.
• Read the instructions carefully and use the series of products that are suitable for the hair type (Strength 0 performs a more powerful straightening process and is intended for curly hair).
• The formula is not intended for allergy sufferers.
• Be careful of contact of the preparations with the eyes.
• Do not use the Schwarzkopf Glatt formula after straightening the hair with products that contain, among other things, sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide.
• Glatt straightening is not recommended for use on hair with shades, very light or brittle.
