Permanent hair straightening

Everything you wanted to know about hair types:

The need for a permanent solution for hair straightening stems from the demanding lifestyle and the shortness of time that we become more and more with the development of technology. Women today, more than ever, serve in key positions and even dominate several occupations at the same time, in addition to leading a family life and developing their selves while maintaining a well-groomed, presentable and up-to-date look. Out of this need, for over 2 decades, was born the regular hair straightening that is done once every few months and serves as a real, available and comfortable solution for looking hair without spending a lot of time and resources on a daily basis.

Permanent (permanent) hair straightening for the issue, this is a straightening whose results are noticeable for a long period of time and usually if it is a straightening that contains formalin after a few months (about 6 months), straightening should only be done on the hair roots. There are also natural / organic hair straighteners on the global market that contain minerals and do not contain chemicals like formalin, and can be done independently at home. These are called homemade hair straighteners and are applied around the world independently easily and without fear. There are also keratin treatments for damaged hair restoration that are suitable for all hair types and their purpose is to restore her hair to its natural protective layer and it is the keratin protein like the one found in our skin, nails and hair.

Types of hair straightening:

Japanese straightening

The oldest hair straightener on the market, and is known as a straightener that gives straight hair flowing (“planks”). The treatment process takes about three hours and includes applying a straightener, waiting and washing the hair, drying and straightening with a ceramic straightener. Waiting times vary depending on the type of hair, and it is very important to go through the process with a skilled professional, who knows how to identify the exact moment when the hair is elastic enough to go through the ironing, a step that varies from person to person. The hair should not be washed for a week. The process needs to be renewed every 4-6 months on the new roots.

French Hair Straightening

(Extenso) L’Oreal Professional hair straightening compared to the Japanese straightening that only gives an ironed look, here the resulting look can be a natural part or a surfer part, depending on the preference. Of course with hair growth the treatment of roots that grow, after about half a year, should be renewed, depending on the type of hair and its growth rate as in Japanese straightening. Of the types of permanent straightening, it is considered the most gentle thanks to the different formulas according to the different hair types: thin and sensitive hair / dyed hair or thick natural hair, unlike other straighteners that are only for natural or colored hair. The process takes about two and a half hours, during which the hair undergoes a treatment similar to Japanese straightening. The differences between them are that in the last part of the treatment the hair is dried on the face and not with a ceramic straightener, and the hair can be washed on the same day.

Keratin hair straightening

The most common and least harmful straightening today is done mainly on dyed and very damaged hair or on hair with shades because it is considered a restorative straightening (less effective on natural hair). Keratin is one of the proteins that make up hair, it significantly reduces hair volume, gives it shine and makes it easier to style. Over time, the keratin is gradually washed away from the hair, and a special shampoo and conditioner should be used, which do not contain salts that weaken and shorten the life of the treatment. Skating has no side effects, except for women with seborrheic dermatitis. The treatment lasts about half an hour to an hour and includes the use of a low percentage of oxygen, which opens the hair and prepares it better for receiving the keratin. And so the keratin will be better received. The hair is then dried using a hair dryer and passed over with a ceramic straightener.

The hair becomes smooth and soft to the touch.

Brazilian hair straightening

This hair straightener is not approved for use by the Ministry of Health due to the use of a straightener that contains a high concentration of formaldehyde (formaldehyde) which as stated is dangerous to health. Despite this there are hairdressers who perform it.

Natural hair straightening

Natural hair straightening or in its various names – organic / mineral straightening. Organic is the new generation in hair straightening and is a worthy and winning replacement for all types of straightening we have known so far!

Benefits of Organic Hair Straightening:

Suitable for all hair types 100% results Smoothes and nourishes the body of hair Nourishes dry hair, restores damaged hair Contains no chemicals and no formalin

In the organic formula, a process takes place within the inner texture of the hair that opens the sulfur bonds and makes it in a safe process smooth and uniform and gives the hair a shine and softness that it never had. Organic straightening, which in most cases is also called mineral straightening, unlike other types of straightening, does not contain harsh chemicals, formaldehyde, ammonia or sulfur and can be used safely for all hair types with an advanced formula of high quality products and approved by the Ministry of Health. You can dye your hair or even renew it immediately after the treatment because this is not a process done in the hair that could harm its health and / or limit you to any other changes that you would like to make afterwards. That the hair remained strong because the sulfur bonds were not broken in the process but underwent a constant change, to smooth and shiny hair.

It should be noted that today it is possible to do organic (natural) mineral hair straightening independently at home easily and efficiently without wasting precious time and resources on applying the process in hairdressers and beauty salons and without leaving home!

Prada’s home organic hair straightening, for example, is known as a quality straightening and is highly recommended by thousands of women in Israel and around the world and is of course approved by the Ministry of Health.

We recommend reading on the various sites, Google, Facebook and YouTube about the different hair straighteners, the differences between them, the pros and cons and the opinions of satisfied customers. There are also videos that illustrate how to perform home hair straightening for the issue, natural / organic / mineral and various keratin treatments for hair restoration.
